-Autopsy bodies have a semi-flexible (shore 60) dura rubber skin and a polyfoam core with pvc armature in legs and back, and wire armature in arms.
-Flaps are reinforced with mesh and backed with foam to reduce risk of tears. Flaps do not stay open unaided and do not form a perfect seal over the opening.
-Flaps are cut as an H incision rather than a Y incision so as to put less strain on the material.
-Ribcage and all visceral organs are removable on the standard models
-Skull Cap (calvarium) and brain are removable on specific models
-Bodies are also available with certain standard wounding as well as custom wounding
.-Male and female models are available. Females have a uterus and ovaries in addition to the complete organ set.
-Body includes a flat backed "folded" intestine that looks as the intestine appears in the body and fits in the body. This does not unfold. Body also includes a 9 ft "rope" intestine to show a unfolded intestine. This does not fold up to fit in the body.
-Bodies include non-flexible lightweight polyfoam organs unless otherwise specified. Weighted organs are the same rubber but are realistic weight. Silicone organs are realistic weight and feel. All organs are lifesize.
-We have open eyed and closed eyed autopsy bodies, as well as several races and skintones. Customizations available.
